KENSOMENT Management Services Limited is a Kenya-based consultancy firm, formally registered in March 2023, with a regional footprint and proven operational capacity across the Horn of Africa. The firm was established by a multidisciplinary team of senior professionals, each with more than a decade of experience in Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH), governance and institutional strengthening, climate change adaptation and resilience building, applied economics, gender equality and social inclusion (GESI), monitoring, evaluation, and learning (M&E), and policy-oriented applied research.
We work at the intersection of evidence generation, policy influence, and programme improvement, offering tailored solutions to the complex challenges faced by fragile, conflict-affected, and climate-vulnerable settings. Our expertise covers the full project cycle, from baseline research and feasibility studies to mid-term and endline evaluations, impact assessments, and adaptive learning processes, ensuring that programmes are designed and implemented based on sound evidence and continuous learning.
Our geographical focus spans Somalia, Kenya, and Ethiopia, with experience in urban, peri-urban, and arid/semi-arid (ASAL) contexts. We have implemented assignments in both humanitarian and development settings, including displacement-affected communities, climate shock-prone areas, and regions undergoing governance and market system reforms.
Our consultant expertise have previously provided and have over a decade’s experience on context-responsive research, evaluation, and technical advisory services to UN agencies, international and local NGOs, donor-funded consortia, and government bodies. Our work is grounded in a participatory and inclusive approach, ensuring that voices of women, youth, persons with disabilities, and marginalized groups are meaningfully represented in data and decision-making processes.
